Emotions and us

You can sort of cleanly map emotions onto headmates for us. Well, more in that we have ‘affinities’ or ‘skills’ or something. I have the power to be sad. I can cry. However, I find being happy hard. I find expressing other emotions hard, I’m emotionally cold to speak to and don’t show my emotions on my face. Until I do.

Delta and Daisy are quite good at being happy. They are generally upbeat to be around, like to chat a lot, have friends, giggle at jokes, things like that. However, Daisy is really good at being anxious. Worryingly so. They also struggle with being angry, which is an emotion we were not allowed to feel historically. Like being sad. These were banned emotions.

Emotional regulation is also harder with littles. I’m not going to say any more there, because I don’t want to.
